The striker, now at Sampdoria, has exposed concerning the issue after his stalker was recently jailed.
Quagliarella joined Napoli during 2009 and scored 11 goals in all competitions during his only season at the Stadio San Paolo before joining Juventus each year later.
And the 34-year-old has revealed he was “very happy” in Naples but he with his fantastic family were driven away due to their stalker hell.
“I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. I couldn’t leave my house, neither could my loved ones. I thank the courts for ensuring the simple truth became available.
“It was much more painful because because the investigation was on-going, I couldn’t tell people regarding this, I couldn’t express what was happening if you ask me.”
