Steve Mandanda Available To Marseille Return

Marseille already have re-signed Dimitri Payet from West Ham United FC through the winter transfer window, as well as sealing the signature of in-demand former Manchester United FC and Juventus left-back Patrice Evra, with owner Frank McCourt's 'OM Champions Project' entering into full swing.

Mandanda has slipped behind Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey in London this coming year, and would relish the chance to follow Payet's lead and resume a profession with all the club he made over 300 appearances for between 2007 and '16.

"If I have to return to France it will probably be with Marseille and nobody else," he explained.

OM are currently sixth in Ligue 1 on 39 points, having been 12th when US billionaire McCourt first took control over the club from Margarita Louis-Dreyfus last October.
